Shield of Winter (Psy-Changeling Book 13)
Assassin. Soldier. Arrow. That is who Vasic is, who he will always be. His soul drenched in blood, his conscience heavy with the weight of all he’s done, he exists in the shadows, far from the hope his people can almost touch—if only they do not first drown in the murderous insanity of a lethal contagion. To stop the wave of death, Vasic must complete the simplest and most difficult mission of his life.
For if the Psy race is to survive, the empaths must wake…
Having rebuilt her life after medical “treatment” that violated her mind and sought to suffocate her abilities, Ivy should have run from the black-clad Arrow with eyes of winter frost. But Ivy Jane has never done what she should. Now, she’ll fight for her people, and for this Arrow who stands as her living shield, yet believes he is beyond redemption. But as the world turns to screaming crimson, even Ivy’s fierce will may not be enough to save Vasic from the cold darkness…

Shield of Winter
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters, like all of Ms. Singh's characters, are delightfully engaging and the plot was intriguing. I had a very hard time putting it down so I could get some badly needed sleep. I have finished re-reading the entire series and have pre-ordered the next volume. Ms. Singh is a very gifted writer.

Love, love Nalini Singh and her Psy-changeling heroes and heroines. Well written and consuming stories. Can't wait to read the experiences of Arrow squad in her next installment.
Surprising
I founded myself having feelings for Vasic...really pulling for him where in the past I liked him but didn't really think about him. I also liked how former characters showed in this story. I was disappointed that there was not more changeling interaction.
Didn't think I would like a series like this
Didn't think I would like a series like this, I had picked up her angel series, read the description in the back of one of them for this series and decided to give it a try. Needless to say, I make sure to pre-order her books.
Awesome
Poignant. Made me smile and cry. The author has created a world that is vibrant and feels emotionally real. Great read.
Such a treat!!!
I love Nalini and her world of special people. I am amazed at anyone who can write a book....I am astounded by someone who can envision a whole world.
A truly worthwhile read
This book was certainly worth the wait ...Nalini Singh has created an amazing world where readers can feel an affinity to the characters. The background story of the changeling society becomes just as an important to the overall feel as the central characters story. It is comparable to the Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series as it is just as captivating and reader thinks about the characters after the book has been finished. A truly worthwhile series to read..
Still going strong
The latest installment concerns mostly Psy and their emotions. Interesting characters, good plot, romance, danger, it has it all. Nevertheless I find myself hoping that next book concerns shifters. Cann't wait either way.
Vasic's story
Feels like I have been waiting forever for Vasic's story. It was well worth the wait. To see the real Vasic behind the Arrow was so beautiful. Also, to get to meet more of the Arrow's was fabulous. Ms. Singh has out done herself again.

Fantastic story this series started out amazing and just continues to get better. A story about a race of people who's leaders tried to remove their emotions resulted in an emotional journey. Keep Kleenex close, at one point I was crying so hard I couldn't see the page. Nalini's writing sucks you into the story, the characters are real and you are right there with them living their story. Loved this book one of the best if the series.
